First Choice Power Expands Call Center, Partners With Stellar
April 05, 2011
First Choice Power is expanding its customer service to include a new call centre to take inbound English and Spanish enrollment calls. Stellar, located in Las Colinas, operates the call centre.
Stellar will begin accepting First Choice Power calls in mid-April to enroll new pre- and post-paid residential and small commercial customers at their call center in Hickory Creek, Texas.
“Stellar will be taking inbound sales calls as part of First Choice Power’s business expansion plans in Texas,” said Brian Hayduk, president of First Choice Power. “These calls come in from across the state as people inquire about First Choice Power’s electric services. First Choice Power selected Stellar as one of its managed customer relations providers in part because of the shared value in putting the customer first and providing superior customer care.”
Stellar specializes in complicated industries such as utility service. It is an international call center provider managing more than 300 million customer interactions a year for government, utilities, telecommunications and manufacturers. The call centre in Hickory Creek also handles calls for the National Motor Club, providing roadside assistance for everything from motorcycles to motor homes.
“In the last six months, we have brought more than 200 new jobs to the D/FW Metroplex, and Stellar looks forward to continuing to expand its presence in the United States,” said Peter Trowbridge, CEO of Stellar US. “With Irving-based ownership and management, Stellar is positioned to provide superior service to both First Choice Power and its customers from right here in Texas.”
