Group General Manager Products & Projects

Those who work closely with Sharon will know she doesn’t sit still. She’s balancing a young family with her dynamic role as Stellar’s Group General Manager of Products & Projects — and she still finds time to battle it out at the top of the office Fitbit leader-board.

Sharon worked as a Campaign Manager for major telecommunications organisations in Australia before broadening her experience to operational contact centre management in Europe. She started with Stellar when we first opened in 1998, working as a Business Integration Manager. Her first role at Stellar was implementing our first major client and our first call centre site on the Gold Coast in Queensland. Since then she’s worked across many functions in our business – from Project Management to Commercials & Account Management, Centre Management, Operations General Management  and even working as the head of HR for our business.

In her current role, she leads a  team comprised of Stellar’s Product and Project teams. This team is comprised of “very talented people with a can-do attitude” and their work is centred around growth activity.  Sharon loves to keep the team motivated – knowing that in a pinch, Toblerone and caffeine will help!

Sharon’s team handles product management, innovation, internal communications, project implementation and facilities management. The work type and energy required from the team means no two days are the same for Sharon. Sometimes she’s reviewing new product ideas, others she’s looking over project plans, or she’s assessing new potential sites. The team love making clients happy by turning their vision into reality.

Sharon’s a frustrated artist (frustrated because she isn’t good at art), a keen traveller and loves wining and dining as well as a bit of ‘quiet’ time. All of her hobbies have been elusive with a young family – so her secret wind down routine at the moment includes catching the latest episode of Bold and the Beautiful.
