Stellar Charity FundraisingHere at Stellar we are passionate about our responsibilities and have a strong sense of community support and involvement with the local community. In addition to helping our local community from an educational perspective, Stellar also places great importance in helping other great causes in the form of fundraising. We have several employees working for Stellar that put a great deal of effort into organising fundraising events, both within and outwith the business.
So far this year our staff have both arranged and taken part in numerous charity fundraising events, such as “Football Shirt Friday”, a charity football tournament, a climb up Goat Fell on the isle of Arran all in aid of Cancer Research UK and a charity cycle done by one of our Sales Delivery Managers in aid of Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity which was also in support of an ex-employees’ son who had a serious health issue. Other local initiatives have seen Stellar raise a significant amount of funds for Cash for Kids as well as participating in yearly Festive Food Bank initiatives arranged by North Ayrshire Council. We aim to raise as much money as possible for as many great causes as we can throughout the year and we are always very grateful for all the help and effort put in by our staff, as well as their family and friends.
Stellar’s Chief Operating Officer Alan Jaszewski commented “Our teams across Scotland undertake a wide range of fundraising activities for both local and national charities and are really keen to make a difference where they can.”
