What is RSS?

RSS (Rich Site Summary or Really Simple Syndication) or News Feeds are a way of delivering regularly changing web content.

Many news-related sites and online publishers syndicate their content as an RSS Feed.

Why use RSS?

RSS Feeds allow you to see when websites have added new content. You can get the latest headlines in one place, as soon as it is published, without having to visit the websites you have taken the feed from.

You save time by not needing to visit each site individually, and you can maintain your privacy by not needing to join each site's email newsletter.

How do I use an RSS Feed?

You can use an RSS Feed by using a news reader - software that checks the feeds the subscribe to and lets you read any new articles that have been added.

There are many different versions, some of which are built into your browser (such as Internet Explorer), and some of which are downloadable applications (such as NewsGator or FeedReader).

Once you have chosen a news reader, all you have to do is to decide what content you want to receive. For example, if you would like to keep up to date with the latest news from Stellar, simply visit our home page and click on the orange RSS button in the bottom footer. On the RSS feed summary page that opens up, click on “Subscribe to RSS Feed”.
